Mom&BabySport is an idea that was born with my first child 3 ½ years ago. During my pregnancy, I found exercise to be of great benefit to me physically and emotionally. I did not want to give that up, but I soon discovered how difficult it was to maintain an active lifestyle as a new mom. It was a struggle to balance my needs with the needs of my children, but being a psychologist, I knew how important it was to take care of myself.
Although it has been challenging, I have found many creative ways to fit activity into my life. When I do so, I feel more confident, energetic, and positive. I want you to know that you can experience these benefits as well. I hope that by sharing my experiences with you, you will be inspired to make fitness and overall health a priority too.
One of the obstacles to being an active mom is that it is often hard to find products and resources that support you. When I was pregnant, I had a difficult time finding products and resources, but over the years I have found that there are many things out there, I just wasn’t aware of them.
